The Mystery of Wire Crochet At Beadology

At Beadology, one of the many techniques in design is Wire Crochet Art Jewelry. The artist takes an old art form of crochet, and transforms it with wire to create jewelry in their own person style. The artist’s reflections are revealed in every design, as they incorporate colorful beads, fresh water pearls, semi-precious stones, shell turquoise, art glass, vintaj brass, or whatever their heart desires. Breathtaking bead combinations are artistically blended with each twist and loop of the wire.
The Mystery of Wire Crochet Workshop is taught by artist/instructor, Jan Ketza-Harris. Join Jan as she reveals her mysteries of creating a 3-4 strand necklace. Jan shares tips she has discovered along the way, talks about the history, and how it has evolved into art jewelry today.
